The six metre high, 400mm thick, grey rammed earth wall has emerged from behind the formwork to reveal it’s beautiful natural texture and colour. The mix included crushed recycled concrete to achieve the warm grey colour we were seeking…..everything old is new again!
Going, going………..gone! The old house on this beautiful sloping site in Claremont has made way for a new one. The magnificent frangipani in the middle of the front garden has been delicately transplanted to it’s new location a few metres away. The earthmoving equipment and a big pile of sand are making way for the basement and swimming pool. Next, the thick grey rammed earth blade wall……coming soon!
